On Monday July 1st 2019 the Royal Opera hosted Exposure, access and opportunity: exploring the cultural barriers to ballet training, a symposium designed to debate the cultural barriers to ballet and dance training for young people across the United Kingdom. Keynote speaker Theresa Ruth Howard, discussed the difference between exposure, access and opportunity and how these factors affect the talent pipeline.
